Design studio
Małgorzata Kruszko-Szotyńska’s Design Studio was established in 1990. At present there are 7 architects. Szczepan Szotyński is the main designer. The studio carries out complex design documentation in cooperation with related offices, specialists and experts. The office designs public buildings (service, administrative, commercial, sports, gastronomic, education, office and places of worship), residential facilities (hotels, boarding houses, leisure centres, dormitories), dwelling houses (single and multi-family houses, residences), as well as interiors, architectural plans, building structures, modernisation and restoration of historic buildings.STUDIO WEB PAGE: www.szotynscy.pl
Many of the designed buildings gained recognition and were honoured including:
- Department Store “MONTE” in Sopot – Mister of Sopot 1998
- The design of Pope’s altar in Sopot on the basis of artistic conception by professor Marian Kołodziej, 1999
- Nominated to the title of “Modernization of the year 2000” for the hippodrome in Polna Street in Sopot
- Sports Hall of Sopot centenary – the 3rd place in an all-Poland poll organized by UKFiS in 2002 for the best designed and completed sports facility during the years 2000-2001
- The Competition of Great Dreamers – the main prize for the elevation design of” Krzywy Dom” – WMProCad Studio 2002
- Nominated for the prize “ Sopot Muse 2003” in the field of architecture for the design for “Krzywy Dom” in Bohaterów Monte Cassino Street in Sopot
- “Krzywy Dom” and the dwelling house in Haffner Street in Sopot – nominated for the prize for the best Sopot investment in 2003
- A multi-family house in Huzarska Street in Gdynia – the prize for the most luxury dwelling house in the Pomeranian district for the year 2007 and many other prizes and awards.
